The Frostland bordering central Altera is the Kingdom of the North, led by King Ragnar and Queen Eira. The North is a harsh and unforgiving land, where the people have learned to survive against all odds. The people of the North are proud and fiercely independent, and they value strength and courage above all else. King Ragnar and Queen Eira are respected for their military prowess and their ability to inspire their people to greatness. They rule with an iron fist but are fair and just, always placing the needs of their people first.
The second faction is the Kingdom of the South, led by Queen Selene and King Alexander. The South is a land of great beauty and abundance, where the people have learned to live in harmony with the land. The people of the South are creative and artistic, and they value beauty and harmony above all else. Queen Selene and King Alexander are renowned for their wisdom and their ability to bring people together. They rule with compassion and kindness, always seeking to create a better world for their people.
The third faction is the Kingdom of the East, led by King Tai and Queen Mei. The East is a land of mystery and intrigue, where the people have learned to adapt to changing circumstances. The people of the East are cunning and resourceful, and they value intelligence and innovation above all else. King Tai and Queen Mei are known for their cunning and their ability to outsmart their enemies. They rule with a shrewd hand, always seeking to gain an advantage over their rivals.
The fourth faction is the Kingdom of the West, led by Queen Isabella and King Set The West is a land of adventure and exploration, where the people have learned to embrace new ideas and technologies. The people of the West are adventurous and curious, and they value progress and innovation above all else. Queen Isabella and King Set are celebrated for their vision and their willingness to take risks. They rule with a bold hand, always seeking to push the boundaries of what is possible.
Those repealing against the four kings and wishing for peace are cast to the Aether itself where they are forced to survive in destitution off whatever scraps find their way to that desolte land. Rekindling the connection between the Aether and your character will grant you with the power to reunite the knights kingdom with your chosen faction.
The outcast nomads survive through adaptation, hoarding whatever they can obtain. Approaching these entities is unwise for all but the most powerful travellers. The people of the Aether often deliver offerings to each other to placate the jealousy and unease which divides them, despite their common objectives.
